According to the leak, Xiaomi is expected to be preparing to launch its next flagship smartphone, the Mi 5, this year apart from a bigger variant dubbed Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus, a Chinese website claims to have obtained the roadmap for Xiaomi launches for the rest of 2015.
Xiaomi’s product roadmap, the same image shows that Xiaomi also has the successor to the Redmi Note planned for July. Speculated to be named Redmi Note 2, it will come with a 5.5 inch HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8919 chipset, 13 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front cameras.
It also hints at the Redmi Note 2 Pro launch alongside the Redmi Note 2 launch, which will have a 5.5 inch full HD display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. The Pro variant will have the same cameras as on Redmi Note 2.
The leaked roadmap also shows Huawei’s Ascend D8, with a 5.5-inch QHD display, a Hisilicon SoC, and metal casing, to be launched in May. This smartphone will be followed by Ascend Mate 8, to be launched in June and sporting a 6-inch QHD display, Kirin SoC, and 16MP rear camera with OIS.
