Sony launches its first android wear powered smart watch. Sony already has two smartwatchs in the market, but SWR50 is the first to run on Android wear OS.
It features a 1.6″ Transflective display (320×320 pixels) screen with 420mA battery. IP58 rated Waterproofing, loaded with 1.2 Ghz, Quard ARM A7 processor, 512 MB RAM and 4GB memory to store user data. Connects using Bluetooth, NFC and Micro USB.
Needs Android version 4.3 or upper to connect and its official SmartWatch 3 app. And you can personalize your experience through Android wear apps available at the Playstore.
And the unique feature about Sony’s SWR50 is that, it can work as standalone device also, i.e. without the need of any Smartphone and later you can sync up all the data with your smartphone. Play stored songs on the watch’s memory.
Supports controlling the device through Voice, touch, and gesture input, Microphone, On/off/wake-up key.
Available to purchase through Playstore to some countries, and is priced at $250 and comes in 4 different color wrist straps.
