Besides the Redmi Note series, the Redmi series smartphones have always been “Value for Money” offerings. It appears the Xiaomi Redmi 12 Android smartphone could launch soon.

Xiaomi may have accidentally put up the listing of the Redmi 12 Android smartphone. The listing surfaced on the Portugal website of the Chinese tech giant, but Redmi 12 should arrive in India. Let’s look at the specifications, features, price, launch, and availability of the Xiaomi Redmi 12, which is not to be confused with any of the smartphones in the Redmi Note 12 series.

Xiaomi May Have Accidentally Revealed Redmi 12 Budget Smartphone

Redmi 12 Specifications, Features

The Redmi 12 listing on Xiaomi’s Portugal website indicates the smartphone has a 6.79-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The handset has a punch-hole cutout at the center for the 8MP front-facing camera.

The Redmi 12 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, which means the smartphone is limited to 4G networks and is not 5G enabled. The budget chipset, which has a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, is paired with either 4GB or 8GB of RAM. Buyers get to choose between 128GB and 256GB of internal storage.

The Redmi 12 smartphone will be available in Blue, Silver, and Black color options. The listing may soon be updated with fancier names for the colors.
