Government of India Launches UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) for availing many services at one place. Umang works on all platform android, iOS and Windows. It provides 12 hours customer support from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day. Umang provides one touch access to many government services of state, center and regional.
Umang provides various service like paying utility bills to upgrading utility service, checking price of generic and non-generic medicine, details of Approved Schools and College to job registration, checking passport status, appointment schedule and locating passport center. Pan Card to paying taxes. It covers most of the government services even EPF to NPS. Umang is started to promote mobile governance it’s been developed by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and National e-Governance Division (NeGD).
