As per Qualcomm’s official website, Qualcomm® Quick Charge™ is the next generation of fast charging technology for devices powered by Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ processors. The company also provided lab results to prove their point.
In laboratory tests using a 3300mAh battery, a Quick Charge 2.0 enabled device went from 0% to 60% charge in 30 minutes, while a device without Quick Charge 2.0 using a conventional (5 volt, 1 amp) charger achieved just a 12% gain in the same 30 minutes. A device with Quick Charge 1.0 managed a 30% charge in that time period.

Hello Dear,
I want to purchase a smartphone which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 (which should accept 12V while charging for faster charging process). I have explored internet regarding the devices that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 and i found Xiaomi Mi 4 at each and every link that i have gone through.
So can u please suggest me whether i should buy Xiaomi Mi 4 for Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 or not. It would be a great help for me.

There are many other phone manufacturers, which support Quick Charge now, like Le, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Motorola. It’s the same technology with changed names.
