Xiaomi India has launched a special “Summer Service Camp” in the country. The event, which began today, will last for ten days only.
As part of the Xiaomi Summer Service Camp, select Xiaomi and Redmi smartphone users, irrespective of their warranty condition, will be able to get free check-ups and service for their devices. Let’s check out the details of the event, its benefits, and who should attend the same.
Xiaomi Summer Service Camp And Its Benefits Announced
Xiaomi India has launched the Summer Service Camp. The Chinese tech giant shared the news through a Tweet sent out from its official Twitter account.

As the Tweet mentions, the special smartphone service camp will begin on June 1 and end on June 10, 2023. In other words, Xiaomi and Redmi smartphone users have 10 days to get their devices checked for free and avail of any service needed.
The Xiaomi Summer Service Camp will be supported by 1000+ Xiaomi Authorized Service Centers. Moreover, Xiaomi and Redmi smartphone users need not take any prior appointment. Users can merely show up at any of the authorized service centers.
It is important to note that only Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones are eligible. In other words, Poco smartphones will not be entertained.
Xiaomi Summer Service Camp benefits are as follows:
- 100% free phone health check-up
- 100% off on labor charges
- Free software update
- Up to 50 percent off on battery replacement
Needless to say, the battery replacement discount is the most attractive proposition. However, Xiaomi says this facility and discount are applicable only for select models. Additionally, the exact battery replacement discount should vary based on the smartphone model.
Which Smartphones Are Eligible For Free Service And How To Avail Benefits?
Xiaomi hasn’t put out an official list of Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones eligible for the Xiaomi Summer Service Camp. However, some reports suggest newer Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones would be eligible.
Interested Xiaomi and Redmi smartphone users can visit the official Xiaomi website or use the Xiaomi Service+ application to get a complete list of service centers in India. To check eligibility, Xiaomi and Redmi smartphone users can visit any authorized service center across India.
