After one year of acquiring mobile messaging service WhatsApp, Facebook has begun testing a new feature in its “Facebook for Android” app that includes the first major integration of WhatsApp.
This new feature of Facebook app added a “Send” button with WhatsApp icon. This button is the part of status action buttons which appears with each status updates. This new “Send” button appears on the right side. This feature is there in the most recent version of the Facebook for Android app. This button lets you share a Facebook post with your WhatsApp friends and WhatsApp groups.
This is the first and important step by Facebook towards connecting the two platforms; one is Facebook, a social networking app and other WhatsApp, an instant messaging service in order to take over the market of messaging. In coming days, users will be able to see this new send to Whatsapp button.
Last year in Februarys, WhatsApp has 700 million monthly active users and it was acquired by Facebook for over $20 billion. Facebook Messenger now has 600 million monthly active users.
Thanks for your help, however I still cannot share post from Facebook with whatsapp
fb messenger is a rubbish app which also messing with the built in app like stock messenger. why don’t just send receive msg through the fb itself?
Dont give permission for ‘use as default messenger’.
You should be able to download the video on a desktop computer (there’s a link underneath to “Download in SD” or “Download in HD” etc), then copy it to your phone (or email it to yourself or something), then send it via Whatsapp.
