Poco F5 Launching in India on May 9, Pricing Tipped Before Launch

Poco has announced that the Poco F5 is scheduled to launch on May 9. The brand has also teased the design of the phone ahead of its debut. In addition, a Flipkart microsite is now live, showcasing the smartphone in a white color option.

Just yesterday, Qualcomm confirmed that the Poco F5 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset. Going by the Flipkart listing, we can confidently say that the Poco F5 will be a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which debuted in China last month.

Poco F5, Poco F5 Pro Rumored Features

Since the Poco F5 will arrive as a rebranded Redmi Note 12 Turbo, we can assume that the smartphone will also sport a 6.67-inch OLED panel. The display will have an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits of peak brightness.

We can expect the smartphone to feature a triple-camera setup at the rear, comprising a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. It will sport a 16MP selfie camera at the front.

The Poco F5 will be powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor. Meanwhile, the Poco F5 Pro will likely arrive as a rebadged Redmi K60, which is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. We can expect the Pro model to inherit quite a few features from the K60.

Poco F5, Poco F5 Pro Rumored Price

According to prolific tipster Yogesh Brar, the Poco F5 will be priced between ₹28,000 and ₹29,000 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The smartphone will also come in a 12GB + 256GB storage option. There’s no word regarding the price of the high-end version.

Poco has announced that the vanilla Poco F5 will debut in India on May 9. However, the launch timeline of the Poco F5 Pro hasn’t been revealed yet. We can expect the Pro model to follow the launch of the Poco F5.
