Lenovo is now offering the Tab Pro 12.7 in China. As its name suggests, the Tab Pro 12.7 has a 12.7-inch display, which Lenovo complements with a Snapdragon 870 chipset and 8 GB of RAM. The Tab Pro 12.7 offers a 144 Hz panel and a 10,200 mAh battery capacity too, among other features.

Lenovo has showcased the Tab Pro 12.7 in China, following recent releases of the Tab P12 and Tab M10 5G. While the Tab Pro 12.7 resembles the Tab P12 at first glance, the former relies on a Qualcomm chipset rather than the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 found in the latter. Specifically, the Tab Pro 12.7 utilises the Snapdragon 870, a Snapdragon 865-derived chipset.

Additionally, Lenovo pairs the Snapdragon 870 with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of expandable storage. Meanwhile, a 10,200 mAh battery underpins proceedings, which Lenovo rates for over 9 hours of usage. For reference, the tablet can recharge its large battery at up to 20 W via its USB Type-C port. Incidentally, the sole port supports 5 Gbit/s data transfer and can output to external monitors in up to 4K at 60 Hz.

Moreover, the Tab Pro 12.7 features a 12.7-inch LCD panel that outputs at 2,944 x 1,840 pixels with a 144 Hz refresh rate. According to Lenovo, the display covers the DCI-P3 colour space fully, supports active pen input, and is Dolby Vision HDR certified. The Tab Pro 12.7 sells in China for CNY 1,899 with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen whether Lenovo intends to offer the tablet globally.
