Apple refreshed its iPhone 13 colorways with the addition of units in green around this time last year. Now, the Cupertino giant is projected to do the same with its updated 14, albeit with a different color this time. Should this rumor prove true, the update might be a highlight of the company’s Spring Event of 2023.
Apple originally released the iPhone 13 in a range of 5 colors, then proceeded to add a 6th in early March 2022. Now, nearly a year later, the OEM is expected to do something similar with the iPhone 14. Then again, its new finish might not be green this time.
In fact, according to a leak posted to Weibo, the new vanilla flagship’s extra color is slated to be yellow this time. It would be a slightly strange choice, as a number of older iPhones have also had the option, and they have not always been associated with premium status.
Then again, new iPhone 14 renders posted by @aaple_lab to Twitter based on the new rumor are not objectionable by any means. In any case, considering that the 13 Mini was also available in green, the new 14 Plus could also be sold in yellow sometime soon.
Apple is believed to unveil the putative SKUs during a Spring Event of 2023. Then again, they might not have many co-stars during such an event: for example, the new M3 series of processors may be ready to join them yet.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
