Garmin has issued two new Beta updates; version 25.77 for the Fenix 6 and MARQ and version 12.10 for Instinct 2 and Instinct Crossover smartwatches. The new software 25.77 contains fixes for several bugs, including a problem with receiving texts, while 12.10 adds a new setting for the wearables.

Garmin has released Beta Version 25.77 for Fenix 6 and MARQ and Beta Version 12.10 for Instinct 2 and Instinct Crossover smartwatches. The latest software provides minor updates, following the recent version 25.76 and version 12.09 releases, with several bug fixes and a new setting.

With Beta Version 25.77 for Fenix 6, Garmin resolved a problem when users received text messages on their smartwatch, which resulted in the wearable shutting down. Also fixed is an issue with Livetrack, which failed to start automatically during certain activities despite the trigger being set up. Plus, a fault which meant that the Fenix 6 or MARQ smartwatch would be stuck in Battery Saver Mode after a full charge was reached has also been fixed. Beta Version 12.10 for Instinct 2 smartwatches brings a new setting for automatic sensor discovery, which can be found in the Sensors and Accessories menu on the wearable.

As with update versions 25.76 and 12.09, the latest updates will not be pushed to eligible smartwatches automatically and must instead be manually loaded. The previous updates included a more comprehensive range of features, including a new Obstacle Course Racing activity and an improved calorie burn algorithm.
