On May 31st, Faraday Future (FF) announced the price of its first model FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance (2.0 refers to an updated version): $309,000 USD, about RMB 2.2 million.
The FF 91 2.0 will offer two models: the Track Edition and Balance Edition, with the Track Edition being delivered first. FF 91 began production on March 30th of this year, with the first mass-produced car rolling off the assembly line on April 15th.
On the morning of the same day, it was reported that Jia Yueting had officially opened a Douyin account to promote the release conference of FF91. The IP address showed that he was in the United States and he has already gained over 700,000 fans.
Jia Yueting said that FF has been established for 9 years, with 9 years of persistence and perseverance, and 9 years of unyielding spirit. Finally, the delivery time is almost here. “But I am also very sorry to say to all our users and supporters that we are indeed late. However, there is no shortcut on the road to subversion. In recent years, FF has been growing every day, and so has FF91.”
He showcased FF91 2.0 during the event, stating that there have been numerous upgrades and iterations over the past few years, even a generational change. According to Jia Yueting’s introduction, FF91 2.0 has very strong performance while also being very safe.
The car weighs nearly three tons and has a large interior space and wheelbase ratio. “It can accelerate from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour in just 2.27 seconds, which is faster than many Ferraris. But its more impressive feature is its acceleration weight ratio, which leads among cars of similar class and is even twice as fast as Ferrari’s acceleration weight ratio.”
In the comments section, netizens have mixed opinions about Jia Yueting’s appearance. At the end of the video, Jia Yueting once again expressed his thoughts and said, “Entrepreneurs are forever young. We are not afraid of all doubts and criticisms, nor do we seek praise and admiration when we succeed. We only hope to never give up and be worthy with a clear conscience.”
