While Digi has flipped the 5G switch on for a while now, the telco is now extending its 5G Booster to other Digi Postpaid and Prepaid plans.
Previously, Digi’s 5G Booster is only enabled for customers subscribed to Digi Postpaid 90 and above, and with this initiative, it will enable all of its customers to experience 5G speeds at no extra charges until 30 April 2023.
Thereafter, Digi Postpaid and Prepaid plans that doesn’t have the 5G Booster included will be required to pay RM10 per month to be connected to the telco’s 5G network, which isn’t too bad if want to hop on the 5G bandwagon.
Meanwhile, customers already on Digi Postpaid 90 and above will continue to enjoy the 5G Booster at no extra charge after the trial period ends.
To activate 5G Booster, all you need to do is to launch the MyDigi app, tap the ‘+’ button on your data quota and you will find the 5G Booster option there to be purchased.
