Thankfully, those interested in this 34-inch piece of hardware that uses a QD-OLED panel and packs a rich set of smart features can get it now for US$999.99 from both Amazon and Samsung US, as usual.
The VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400-compliant Samsung Odyssey G85SB (LS34BG850SNXZA) runs Tizen and the aforementioned list of smart features includes Samsung Gaming Hub game streaming, SmartThings integration, Smart TV Plus, as well as Bixby and Alexa voice commands. Unfortunately, there is no USB-C cable provided. The monitor’s stand supports multiple adjustments, including height, tilt, swivel, and pivot. However, those who want can also install it using a standard 100 X 100 mm VESA mount.
In addition to the monitor and power cable, the standard retail package also includes a remote controller. Samsung US offers a one-year limited warranty for parts and labor, via carry-in/ship-in.

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I’ve been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
