Written by Deepak

PokemonGo – the virtual reality (Augmented Reality) game has been released in selected countries. And this game is on hype. It’s trending all over the social sites like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram.

This game allows you to catch the Pokémon cartoon series fictional characters using your smart phone. Search, catch, hold, upgrade and compete in Pokémon gyms.

On the technology side, it uses Google Map API and shows your locality on your mobile devices using your GPS and allows you to move to specific PokeStop where you can catch your Pokemon character.  When you cross enough levels, you are qualified for Gym battles, where you test your battle skills using your caught characters.

This app is now available in US, New Zealand and Australia. And slowly plans to roll-out to other countries starting with UK, Canada, South America and rest of Europe.

This solution only works for Android users, iPhone users you may need to wait. Android users, be sure, what and from where you are downloading, as reports have surfaced that many people have downloaded some other similar game along with malware.

If the application is not available to you in your country, navigate to ApkMirror’s website and look for PokemonGo apk, download it from there on your mobile. Do remember to allow application installation from unknown sources.
