After selling 61 million phones last year, Xiaomi is back with announcement of Redmi 2 today, its a successor to Redmi 1S smartphone.
Redmi 2 is an affordable smartphone with mid-range specifications, priced at CNY 699 ($110).
Redmi 2 is available in multiple colors – White, Yellow, Black, Pink and Lime Green.
It features:

- Processor – 1.2 Ghz quad-core Qualcom Snapdragon 410 64-bit Processor with Adreno 306 GPU.
- Network & Sim – Dual-SIM with Support for 4G LTE.
- Memory – 1GB RAM, 8Gb Flash memory, with expandable micro sd card slot upto 32GB
- Camera – 8 Mpx rear camera with 2 Mpx front-camera.
- Battery – 2200 mAh Lithium polymer battery.
