Microsoft just made its latest pre-release build of Windows 10 available for desktop installation. To avail this download, you need to become the member of its Windows Insider program which is for PC experts & developers. Windows 10 preview for phones will be available in February.

This build includes much of the features showcased by Microsoft earlier this week at its Windows 10 Keynote.

Features like new Start Menu which can be expanded to full screen. It also includes Cortana – the voice assistant. Other applications like new Photos, Maps & Xbox apps, Windows store beta is also available. This release also got some of the previous bugs and issues fixed, like Keyboard light indicators.

As stated at the keynote, the new Spartan browser isn’t yet available in this release.

You can download the new release from below link, but just do remember, this is a test release and its still under development. It may have some serious bugs and other issues, which may lead to problems like for graphics or other support issues they were in previous Windows test releases. So, if you think you can tackle the problems yourself, give it a go, otherwise wait until the final release is out.

We would recommend reading the faqs issued by Microsoft, before you try the technical preview.
